YEARLY IMPROVEMENT OF GRID-CONNECTED SOLAR PV SYSTEM PARAMETERS BY PLANAR CONCENTRATORS

Planar concentrators are used in the current manuscript to improve solar PV system parameters (electrical energy, array yield, and irradiation). Additionally, study temperature (both ambient of modules), performance ratio, efficiency. The is situated at Al-Taji town Baghdad. These improvements achieved by using planar increase radiation (made aluminium metal). results demonstrated a 21% yearly average energy output for improved modules. modules' yield increased 20.6%. Compared reference modules, modules received 24% more irradiation on average. monthly ratio (PR) efficiency 89.3% & 13.61%, 91.2% 13.89%, respectively. temperatures 48.8OC 46.0OC, respectively, an 29.2OC. originality this work successful improvement electrical grid-tied system, addition studying second generation photovoltaic (CIGS), where CIGS module technology that manuscript.
